The Force is with us after all: A new animated Star Wars series is coming to the Disney Channel.

Now he’s a father. Cory Matthews doesn’t know how to be a father. He’s following in the footsteps of [Mr. Feeney], the most influential character in his life. Should he be? Will he succeed? Can he influence children like Feeney influenced children? What is Topanga’s observation of that? How does she help? And what is Topanga’s life? And what has she become? You’ll remember we left the series and they were in Philly and they were going on an adventure to go to New York. Did they succeed? Did it work? All of that will be answered in the pilot.

Boy Meets World creator Michael Jacobs gives us a whole lot of delicious scoop about Girl Meets World.

And this is Girl Meets World’s Shawn 2.0, 13-year-old Sabrina Carpenter. She’s certainly got the hair for the job.

Turns out Cory and Topanga’s newly-cast daughter is a singer. Is that a good thing? (We’re skeptical.)

Meet Cory and Topanga’s daughter, Riley Matthews.

Selena Gomez, in her new single “Bang Bang Bang.” Could she be referring to ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas? We do know that Selena’s current beau, Justin Bieber, has no problem puckering up in public.

Chris Colfer opens up to EW exclusively about his new Disney pilot—and Kurt’s imminent return to McKinley.

A Disney Channel spokeswoman confirmed a report in Peoplethat Demi Lovato, the star of Sonny with a Chance who took time out to seek help for personal issues, won’t return to the kiddie show that made her a star. The 18-year-old actress told the magazine that “it made sense for me to go ahead and leave the show to focus on my music. It’s kind of sad for me that a chapter of my life has ended but there couldn’t be a better time for me to move on.”

Someone taped a Bieber cutout to the doorframe of our meeting space in the newsroom.

It jarred us this morning.

Looks like he studied Spying in a Doorway at the Disney Channel Acting School.

Wait, why was it Disney’s Doug? So confused…

The show ran on Nickelodeon from 91-94, in 96 series creator Jim Jinkins sold his production company to Disney along with the rights to the show. The mouse house ordered new episodes of Doug for ABC’s “One Saturday…

One more thing you need to know: Disney’s Doug was awful. Just flat-out horrible. There was, for example, an episode where Patty caught anorexia and ate nothing but ham-flavored spray for like three days. Of course, she got over her illness in 22 minutes.

(Okay, in retrospect, that is actually kind of amazing.)
