Today is your day, tributes!

First: Here’s the first official clip from Catching Fire.

Second: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, and director Francis Lawrence are all participating in a Google+ Hangout today. In other words, it’s FINALLY your chance to convince J. Law that you two would be BFF4EAE.

The boy with the bread and the lady with the meat dress have both signed on to host SNL.

Clearly, SOMEONE in that booking department wanted a sandwich.

Are you going to release new catching fire stills ? IREALLY HOPE SO. The fandom love you, thank you.

Funny you should ask — we’ve got three new photos right here!

'We made some changes to Peeta’s narrative.' says Lawrence. 'We manned him up a little. And by the way it didn’t take a lot, just little choices to make here and there. The story doesn’t really change, his relationship with Katniss doesn’t change, he’s just a different kind of character.' For instance, in the book, the Hunger Games kicks off and Peeta is paralyzed when the other all-star tributes dive into the water. 'The option is for either me drowning or sitting there like a cat bating my paw into the water,' says Josh Hutcherson with a laugh. 'Either way the visual is horrible.' Easy fix: Let Peeta swim.

Catching Fire director Frances Lawrence explains three ways in which the movie will diverge from the book — while assuring fans that their sacred text will always be honored.

The men of ‘The Hunger Games’

Here’s an excerpt from our interview with Collins and Ross; read the whole thing at EW.com.

Suzanne Collins: And you know people may get thrown, say, by the color of an actor’s hair or maybe something physical, but I tell you: If Josh had been bright purple and had had six foot wings and had had six foot wings and gave that audition, I’d have been like “Cast him! We can work around the wings.” He was that good…

The love triangle is complete! What do you think of this casting news?

But who’s gonna play Foxface??? (Does anyone else love her?)

I love Peeta. The character is so much who I am—self deprecating, a people person. And he’d be such a great character to play! Like in the third book? Oh my God.

Boy with the bread hopeful Josh Hutcherson. Now that Jennifer Lawrence is in, how long do you think we’ll have to wait before we know who’ll play Peeta? (via the-hob)
