Before your favorite celebrities were famous, they shilled for Pringles, and Burger King, and Super Nintendo. (Yes, that’s Paul Rudd.)
Yikes — Ashton Kutcher and PopChips are being criticized for an ad in which the TV star dons brownface and puts on an exaggerated Indian accent. The video has been taken down — but Kutcher’s character, Raj, lives on in this other PopChips spot.
PopChips CEO Keith Belling posted on the brand’s official site that the ad was intended to be “a light-hearted parody” and that the creative team behind it “did not intend to offend anyone. I take full responsibility and apologize to anyone we offended.”

The weirdest anti-human trafficking PSA you’ll ever see involves Justin Timberlake, elevator music, Eva Longoria cooing over Piers Morgan, and a chainsaw. Bonus: These were released by Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore’s foundation.
Celebrity commercial of the day: Jason Bateman and Dave Koechner get cozy at Denny’s. As a bonus, the spot was made by DumbDumb, Bateman and Will Arnett’s production company.

Generally speaking, we think it works, though it’s maybe a little long. What about you—does the ad make you want to high-five Smart Water’s advertising team, then quench your thirst with their product?
You wanted to see an Old Navy commercial featuring a Kim Kardashian lookalike that will haunt your dreams forever? No?
Oh, sorry, too late.
