“I didn’t realize what I was stepping into by breaking up Cory and Topanga. I hadn’t really watched that show. I was just so excited to have a job on television and I really didn’t realize how vehemently people would react to my breaking them up. People are still mad about it! Now that [Girl Meets World is happening] people are really happy for them. I think people have fears that Lauren will come back and haunt them, which would be terrible for their relationship and their poor child!”

I think we share a lot of similar characteristics to a couple that’s been together for a long time. We know each other so incredibly well and we love each other and it’s just the best.”

“At this point, I have no official involvement in Girl Meets World. There might be a chance to see some of the BMW cast in a guest spot, and I think it would be nice to find out where our characters have been all these years. But Girl Meets World will be, and I think it should be, it’s own show. It will be about Cory and Topanga, their daughter, and a new set of characters.”
