We’ll see about that…

We are not actually interns. Just as importantly, we’re also only one person. (The royal “we” just sounds better when speaking as a magazine.)

PS In case anyone’s curious about Project Get A Copy of Entertainment Weekly with Benedict on the Cover, my eleventh and twelfth attempts today were UNSUCCESSFUL.  Beginning to suspect I’m being sabotaged.  Will update as events unfold.

Yikes! If you’re having trouble finding the issue in stores, you can always just order it online — we’ve got back issues (including the one that features Benny Cumbo) available here.

How many have you seen?

I really can’t stand people ending sentences in “eh”.
Oh gosh, a thousand apologies! But is it okay when magazines do it?

atspesinfracta replied to your post: Attention, all wannabe EW interns!

Aw poo. What would you suggest for rising juniors or sophomores who are looking to enter the entertainment journalism field though?
Sit around and do nothing until you finish junior year!
Just kidding. There’s no shortage of other places to intern — check out MediaBistro or Ed2010 for listings.

Attention, all wannabe EW interns!

Earlier today, we told prospective interns to apply to work at EW via Time Inc.’s summer internship program. As it turns out, we accidentally misled you — prospective EW interns should actually send their application materials directly to us. There’s more info about what we’re looking for and who you should email at our Ed2010 internship listing. Applications are due Feb. 15, a little further down the line than Time Inc.’s deadline (hooray!).

Apologies for the misinformation — and please, if you’re a rising senior or even a recent graduate, apply!

Guess who stopped by EW’s offices today!*

*Not pictured: Christina Aguilera, whose likeness was quickly snatched away.

It’s that time again! We’re selecting our Entertainers of the Year — and we need your help.

Declare your favorites in movies, TV, music, books and more by voting in our Entertainer of the Year polls; the winners will appear in our annual special issue, which hits stands Nov. 30.

Why, Entertainment Weekly?

Why you don’t put VERONICA MARS on the REUNION Cover? WHY? Put the cast together! Come on!!!!

A good suggestion! Who else would you like to see in next year’s Reunion Issue?
