This is… The Choice?

Fox will soon debut a celebrity dating show that’s basically The Voice for people without talent. Contestants will “audition” to get dates with celebrities like Carmen Electra, Rob Kardashian, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino. The twist: The stars will have their backs turned away from the stage, so they won’t be able to see their potential date until they decide to go out with him or her.

Yes, this is a real thing. More info — plus a longer list of the personalities who will appear on the show — here.

Meet the ladies of Bunheads, a new show from Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino. The series follows a group of aspiring dancers in a small town; it stars two-time Tony Award-winning actress Sutton Foster as a showgirl who leaves Vegas to work at her mother-in-law’s dance studio. It premieres June 11 on ABC Family.

Sound like something you’d watch, Tumblrers?

The show premieres on July 19 at 11 p.m. after Teen Mom and follows the misadventures of a teenager Jenna Hamilton (One Tree Hill‘s Ashley Rickards) who becomes a school celebrity after people mistakenly think she attempted suicide. Check out the preview at EW.com.

Any fans of Nelsan Ellis—a.k.a. True Blood’s Lafayette—out there? If so, let me know, because the man himself is going to be stopping by EW’s offices later today. Got any questions for him?

Wallowing in cliche, alas, is ‘Franklin & Bash,’ which among other things only emphasizes how much trouble TNT has with its programming flow. And by “other things” I mean: Boy, is this show stupid and insulting, to anyone watching and anyone on-camera having to act out its fantasies.

That was way harsh, Ken Tucker. (But warranted.)

Your grandparents just sent you an email about last night’s America’s Got Talent premiere.

BREAKING BAD SEASON 4 TRAILER! BREAKING BAD SEASON 4 TRAILER! Stop whatever you’re doing immediately!

Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer play a couple of bad-boy lawyers in a buttoned-up firm. Who are the judges? Jessie Spano and Cher Horowitz?

There’s a pretty sweet burn in next week’s What to Watch section. (The show’s called Franklin & Bash; it premieres on TNT next Wednesday.)
