More of our favorite Greatest Couple also-rans — Sawyer/Juliet, Apollo/Starbuck, and Homer/Marge. Who else do you think deserved the title?

Maggie Simpson’s got three great options for her Oscar dress this year. Which is your favorite?

Maggie Simpson stars in this Oscar-nominated animated short, “The Longest Daycare.” Think she has what it takes to beat Disney’s “Paperman”?

This Sunday on The Simpsons, Benedict Cumberbatch plays both a Hugh Grant-ian Prime Minister and Severus Snape. And we’ve got exclusive video of his appearance right over here.

The universe is collapsing in on itself: Seth MacFarlane is guesting on The Simpsons! He’ll appear next fall in the series’ 25th season premiere.

In the episode, titled “Dangers on a Train,” Marge mistakes an Ashley Madison-type website for a Dolly Madison-type cupcake site, not realizing that it’s a destination for married people to arrange affairs. While on the site, she encounters the charming Ben (MacFarlane), who pursues her as they bond over their mutual love of a Downton Abbey-ish series, Upton Rectory. “A lot of him trying to go after her is over the phone, so it’s a perfect part for someone with his voice,” says Jean, who adds that the smooth-voiced MacFarlane croons “The Way You Look Tonight” in the episode.

Giggidy-giggidy-d’oh.

New York City’s mayor just voiced his support for Obama. But Romney shouldn’t worry — because C. Montgomery Burns has his back.

Eeeeeeeeexcellent.

This week on The Simpsons: When Lisa’s scheme to boost her popularity at school goes horribly wrong, Lady Gaga magically intuits that her help is needed. But as this exclusive clip from the episode shows, Lisa isn’t exactly going gaga for Gaga — which hurts Gaga’s feelings. And when Gaga cries, something priceless happens.

Lady Gaga’s Simpsons alter ego was born this way — that is, skinny, yellow, and wearing a tiara. By the way, there will be plenty more Gaga to gawk at: This is only one of 18 outfits that she’ll don in an upcoming episode, which airs May 20 on Fox.

For a 10-year-old boy, Bart Simpson sure gets a lot of action. We’ll be reminded of that this fall, when Fox airs a Simpsonsinstallment featuring Zooey Deschanel, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Sarah Silverman — all of whom have voiced love interests for Bart in past episodes.

As Simpsons consulting producer Tim Long, who wrote the episode, says: “We thought it might be fun to borrow/pay homage to/steal an idea from High Fidelity and have him go on a romantic pilgrimage and visit all the girls that he dated and try to figure out how the hell he screwed things up with each of them… I don’t want to give away too much, but he realizes that maybe there’s something wrong with him after all.” Consider us sold.

23 years later, there are still plenty of reasons to love The Simpsons. Here’s how the show acknowledged its network’s 25th birthday.
