The CW’s new version of Beauty and the Beast should probably be titled Beauty and That Other Beauty. More promo art from the network’s new shows — including The Carrie Diaries, Arrow, and Cult — here.

“Fox wanted to know what they were getting into; they did not want to get into a situation where it was a completely up-for-grabs scenario. They asked for the explanation of what’s going on to a large degree. Obviously they didn’t say, ‘give us every script synopsis and tell us what happens in the series finale,’ but they wanted the main headlines of what the show is about, what the backstory is.”
J.J. Abrams reassures us that the writers of his new show, Alcatraz, won’t just be making stuff up as they go along. (You listening, Darlton?)
What about "Are you there Vodka? It's me Chelsea" - i couldn't remember what network picked it up. Love the Tumblr!
NBC picked up the show, though it hasn’t yet placed it on the fall schedule. Check out a clip here.
what day will Zooey D's new flick be shown? I saw your chart and it wasn't there? Thanks!!
Actually, it’s on there—New Girl will air Tuesdays at 9PM on Fox, right after Glee.
Here’s what the TV landscape will look like come fall—on the Big Four networks, at least. (The CW will premiere their lineup tomorrow.) The first day listed is Monday, and the channels are listed in this order: CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fox. Click through to see a bigger version of the chart.
SMG’s coming back to TV! The CW has officially picked up Ringer, a drama that stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as a woman who goes on the run after witnessing a murder, hiding out by assuming the life of her wealthy identical twin sister—only to learn that her sister’s seemingly idyllic life is just as complicated and dangerous as the one she’s trying to leave behind.
Other pickups include a Vampire Diaries companion called The Secret Circle and Hart of Dixie, starring Rachel Bilson.
ABC’s rebooted Charlie’s Angels stars two normal, contemporary women and one jumpsuited refugee from the ’70s. That should make for an interesting group dynamic.
